THIS LOADED 1972 CALIFORNIA ORIGINAL CORVETTE IS IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION WITH A STRAIGHT BODY GLOWING WITH NEWER PAINT, NEW INTERIOR, NEWER TIRES AND REBUILT MOTOR. EXTERIOR: THE PAINT WAS REDONE A FEW YEARS AGO AND REMAINS ON A STRAIGHT BODY THAT LOOKS GREAT. THE FRAME IS SOLID AS THE CAR HAILS FROM AN ARID WESTERN UNITED STATES CLIMATE. THE WEATHERSTRIP IS IN FAIR CONDITION, SOME OF IT HAS BEEN REPLACED IN THE RECENT PAST AND IT REMAINS FUNCTIONAL. THE TIRES HAVE PLENTY OF MEAT AND REST ON THE ORIGINAL STYLE RALLY WHEELS. THE HEADLIGHTS AND THE WIPERS ARE FUNCTIONAL. INTERIOR: THE INTERIOR LOOKS GREAT WITH NEW SEAT COVERS, DOOR PANELS AND CARPET. (PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WHITE LINE ON THE PASSENGER SIDE SEAT WAS A CHALK LINE FOR THE COVERS WHEN THEY WERE MANUFACTURED AND HAS ALREADY BEEN REMOVED.) THE DASH LOOKS GOOD AND IS SHOWING A COUPLE OF INCONSPICUOUS SPLITS IN THE SPEAKER HOLES. ALL OF THE GAUGES LOOK GREAT AND REMAIN FUNCTIONAL EXCEPT FOR THE CLOCK. THE ORIGINAL STEREO LOOKS GREAT IN THE ORIGINAL UNTAMPERED GAUGE BEZEL. THE ORIGINAL SEAT BELTS REMAIN FUNCTIONAL. THE REAR COMPARTMENT DOORS HAVE A NEW FRAME AND LOOK GREAT. THIS STINGRAY IS A JOY TO SIT IN! MECHANICS: THE ORIGINAL DISPLACEMENT REBUILT 350 CUBIC INCH MOTOR (NOM) RUNS WELL MATED TO THE FACTORY AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. THE MOTOR COMPARTMENT LOOKS CLEAN. THE BRAKES HAVE BEEN REDONE IN THE RECENT PAST WITH STAINLESS STEEL SLEEVED CALIPERS. THE SUSPENSION LOOKS INTACT AND APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN SERVICED IN THE PAST AS WELL. THE A/C SYSTEM IS COMPETE MINUS THE COMPRESSOR WHICH WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED.
